March has indeed been the most marvellous of months, in relation to all things quilty. To start, I reviewed 2 books for The Sewing Directory Website, they were;
And the much anticipated;
Both fabulous (if very different) books, so do check them out :-)
And then there was Mother's Day, and my very kind and generous husband surprised me with this.
Oh happy days! How could the month get any better you ask?
Well it did, because I got to use my shiny brand new sewing machine when Lucie Summers, designer of the gorgeous fabric line Summersville and Summersville Spring, came to Jersey to teach!!
Here's a little collage of what we got up to, and you can read a full account here.
So with all this flurry of activity, it's any wonder I actually did any sewing at all.
As well as being busy making pirate bunting and cupcake bunting to fulfil orders through my website, I also had a quilt finish, that I've been meaning to share with you for ages. It's my hand quilted French General Quilt.
And finally, as Easter approached, I knew that I needed to make some teacher presents for my daughter's teachers. So I used this little tutorial, and made some of these, juggling chickens.
And finally, one other SO VERY EXCITING thing happened too this week...I booked my ticket!
Are you going? If so I'd love to hear from you! I'm so excited I can hardly wait.
I hope you have had a great month too.
Linking up with;
And
Sarah x
