A Sneak Peak

For the last week I have been working feverishly on a project that I am very excited about.

It's a quilt and pattern that I'm putting together for a magazine publication.  I won't go into anymore detail for now, but I hope it will be on the shelves of a newsagents near you some time next year.  (Cue squeals of excitement not dissimilar to a child on Christmas morning).

It's been so much fun, and lots of hard work, and I can't tell you how much I want to share it with you.

But of course that would spoil the surprise.  So for now, the best I can do is give you a little sneak peak of the quilt top, before I started what can only be described as a machine quilting marathon.

The marathon quiltathon continues. And I am loving every stitch.

  1. Your quilt looks lovely. How exciting to have a pattern published! I have always wondered about the process - does the publisher approach you, or do you approach them?

  2. Wow Sarah. How exciting for you. Having your pattern published in a magazine deinitely has to be up there in the top 3 of the most exciting things ever to happen. The only thing down side I thinkis the long wait until you can actually show everybody! I love the colours and look forward to seeing it when you can reveal all. Good luck with your quilting.
